TRUE HEADING
Modern SOTDMA AIS transponder The TRUE HEADING CTRX VISION+ is a modern 5 watt AIS Class B transponder that uses the SOTDMA protocol. Just like the AIS Class A transponders, the CTRX VISION+ also uses the time slot reservation method so that there is always a free time slot available to transmit its position with a higher transmission power of 5 watts and a faster update rate than conventional AIS transponders. Switch the AIS transponder to " silent mode" and you can suppress the transmission of your AIS data while still being able to receive AIS data. Integrated antenna splitter Save yourself the trouble of installing an additional antenna cable and finding a suitable installation location for an additional VHF antenna. The CTRX VISION+ has a built-in high-performance antenna splitter, which makes it possible to use your existing VHF marine radio antenna for loss-free transmission and reception of radio messages and AIS data. Easy installation Thanks to its compact design and low weight, the TRUE HEADING CTRX VISION+ can be installed quickly and easily with concealed mounting. The PL-SO 239 sockets provided for the antenna and radio connection are compatible with PL-259 plugs most commonly fitted to antenna cables. NMEA2000 Micro-C, serial NMEA0183 and USB interfaces allow for multiple connection options. The CTRX VISION+ / WiFi can be easily programmed with your personal data using the proAIS2 software. Download the software free of charge from the manufacturer's website. High-quality GPS antenna included The high-quality 72-channel GPS antenna included determines current position precisely and reliably at all times. The GPS antenna is connected directly via the TNC connection. What is the AIS SOTDMA access scheme? AIS signals are transmitted using two main methods: CSTDMA (Carrier Sense Time Division Multiple Access) and SOTDMA (Self Organising Time Division Multiple Access). With conventional CSTDMA, the system checks the availability of a free slot before transmitting AIS information. If no slots are free, the system waits until a free slot becomes available. This can lead to a long waiting time before the transmitted AIS signal can be sent. By contrast, SOTDMA transmissions are more structured. Here, each transmitted AIS signal is coordinated and prioritised with other signals. Instead of waiting for the next free slot, an additional slot is reserved for the next SOTDMA signal. This leads to more structured and more frequent transmissions compared to the conventional CSTDMA method. The AIS - SOTDMA system has a clear advantage over the CSTDMA system, especially in heavily frequented areas such as the English Channel and the waterways around large harbours such as Rotterdam. In addition, SOTDMA AIS transponders operate with an increased transmission power of 5 watts, which significantly increases the range of the transponder. Note: You can programme the AIS receiver yourself. However, if you would like us to programme the device, we charge our programming fee for this service. easyRescue Pro3-AIS Emergency Transmitter with DSC and Homing Function

WEATHERDOCK
Rescue is on its way! The easyRescue Pro3 emergency transmitter increases your chances of survival enormously. Every ship with AIS on board can see the "live" position of the victim on the PC or plotter and start an immediate rescue operation. In addition to the AIS alarm, a DSC distress call and a 121.5 MHz homing signal are transmitted in tandem. The alarm is triggered automatically. Three Systems - One common goal: fast and effective rescue After it has been initialised, the easyRESCUE Pro3 sends an AIS emergency message which can be received by all AIS devices (Class A and Class B). In addition, the device is equipped with an integrated, precise and fast, state-of-the-art GPS. This means that every ship (commercial shipping, official vehicles, SAR, etc.) with AIS on board can start an immediate rescue operation - which increases your chances of survival enormously! The DSC distress call is first performed in a "closed loop" of up to 8 ships, whose MMSI numbers have been programmed in advance with the free Weatherdock app via Bluetooth. If no confirmation is received within 10 minutes, a change to "open loop" takes place automatically and "all ships call" is sent as an official emergency call to the GMDSS rescue network. In addition to AIS and DSC, a 121.5 MHz signal is transmitted. This "homing signal" can be received and located by official rescue services. The alarm is triggered automatically. sMRT ALERT AIS & DSC MOB Distress Beacon/ Class M

MRT
sMRT ALERT from MRT is an MOB (Man Overboard) personal locator beacon that transmits a distress alert and position update via AIS and VHF-DSC to provide the best possible chance of survival in the event of an MOB situation. It sends an alert to all VHF DSC radios within range and then updates via AIS to enable exact position tracking. It instills user confidence by including app-based status checks as well as audio and visible acknowledgements. What is a Class M AIS distress beacon? To protect the AIS system from overloads caused by false alarms, a new European regulation, ECC/DEC/(22)02 has been approved and is scheduled to be implemented from December 2024. Under this regulation, in countries that adopt the Class-M standard, AMRDs (autonomous maritime radio devices, such as AIS MOBs), will no longer be permitted to use AIS channels 1 and 2. Instead, they will be required to switch to channel 2006, which is not designated as an emergency channel. Functions VHF DSC When activated, all nearby vessels are alerted via DSC. AIS The live location of the MOB is regularly updated via AIS. Dual GNSS Through the combination of GPS and Galileo GNSS, position tracking accuracy is drastically increased. Class-M sMRT ALERT complies with ECC/DEC/(22)02 regulation. WEATHERDOCK
The AIS Class B easyTRX3 transmitter/receiver by Weatherdock boasts the latest innovations: 5 W broadcast power, faster transfer rate of AIS protocols and SOTDMA technology. The AIS transceiver features a rugged, compact and waterproof housing and provides permanent parallel transmission and reception of both AIS frequencies. The device has an integrated splitter and integrated GPS antenna. SOTDMA technology improves AIS transmission by organising the free time slots in the AIS transmission process and reserving the same space for the next transmission interval. Connect to a wide range of devices with NMEA2000, 2x NMEA0183 and USB connectivity. AIS data is displayed in real time on a compatible display. The integrated 72-channel GNSS/GPS receiver provides optimal reception of position data. Please note that depending on the installation location of the AIS transponer, the integrated GPS receiver may not receive a sufficient GPS signal. In this case, it is recommended to use the separately available GPS antenna. The USB connection to a computer provides the power supply, allowing the device to be easily configured at home. The same applies to the internal SD memory, which can also be controlled and accessed via computer without an external power source. All AIS travel data, similar to a black box, can be stored on the internal storage device for data backup. With a USB connection to a PC/MAC or laptop, the memory can be accessed or the easyTRX3 can be programmed with relevant ship data using the included software, without having to connect the easyTRX3 to its own power supply. easy2-MOB DSC AIS Emergency Transmitter/ Automatic and Manual/ Class M Approved

WEATHERDOCK
The Class M easy2-MOB from Weatherdock is a combined AIS/DSC distress transmitter and can be activated manually as well as automatically. In an emergency, the device sends an instant alert to all vessels in the immediate vicinity and ensures that rescue attempts can be made as quickly as possible. Powerful red LEDs and an integrated strobe light also increase visibility. Weatherdock Class M easy2-MOB marine rescue transmitter approved to the latest standard As of 1st January 2021, a new standard (ECDIS 63269 IEC 2022) for AIS MOB (Man over Board) rescue beacons has been in place. This standard states that all "AIS MOB" devices with DSC (Digital Selective Calling) also require a DSC receiver. It must also be possible to switch off all automatic mechanisms. From 1 January 2025, the sale of existing AIS MOB devices will be prohibited and it is currently unclear whether the use of such devices will still be permitted from this point onwards. The Weatherdock easy2-MOB, is a class M approved AIS maritime distress transmitter. DSC function Alert up to eight vessels whose MMSI numbers have been pre-programmed via Bluetooth and the Weatherdock app. DSC signals can be both transmitted as well as received. If the unit receives no acknowledgement, it switches automatically to “open loop distress call” transmitting. This signal can be picked up and relayed by commercial vessels to forward the distress call, thus the chance of being saved is increased many times over. AIS function Parallel to DSC, the emergency transmitter sends an AIS distress call alert. This signal is received by all vessels with AIS on board within a radius of up to 7 nautical miles. The data is updated and re-transmitted every minute. Highly versatile The emergency transmitter does not require any special tools for attachment. Due to its compact size, it is suitable for use with a wide range of life jackets. Simply slide it head down between the folded bladder. The safety line is attached inside, e.g. to an existing ring with a knot.
